# Kadenwood Group > Kadenwood is an independent investment group and advisory firm, held and run by principals who have operated the businesses they underwrite. We work from Vancouver (885 West Georgia Street, 20th Floor) and New York (745 Fifth Avenue, 5th Floor), with a team based across North America, Europe, and Africa. Kadenwood acquires, builds, and advises: operators who invest, for founders, families, and the institutions that back them. Tagline: For the capital decisions you only make once. Kadenwood Group is the trading name of 1438076 B.C. Ltd. (British Columbia) and Kadenwood Group LLC (Wyoming). Securities transactions are conducted through Enclave Capital LLC in the United States (an SEC-registered broker-dealer, member FINRA and SIPC, CRD No. 22732, SEC No. 8-39592) and through Parvis Investment Services Inc., a registered exempt market dealer, in Canada. Nothing on the Kadenwood website constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities or investment products, nor legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. ## What Kadenwood does Two lines of work, both aimed at the lower-middle and middle market: privately held businesses, and the owners and sponsors who hold them. Investments. Direct private equity, control and significant minority, taken deal by deal, with co-investment alongside partners who commit their own capital. In some situations we also advise. Value is created inside the business, by operators, and the work starts in the first month. We invest to grow a business quickly and drive it to a return, not to hold it. There is no fund clock, so every commitment is decided on its own merits rather than against a deployment target. Advisory. We advise founders, families, and sponsors on the transactions that define them, with the judgment of principals who have owned the businesses, sat on the boards, and carried the risk. Six mandate types, one standard of work. Core sectors: Business Services; Energy; Real Assets and Infrastructure; Industrials and Manufacturing. We take mandates outside those sectors when the facts of a situation call for it and we can do the work properly. Offices: Vancouver, 885 West Georgia Street, 20th Floor, BC V6C 3E8; New York, 745 Fifth Avenue, 5th Floor, NY 10151. Telephone +1 (778) 986-3435. Our principals and advisors have transacted and hold standing relationships across the Americas, Europe, and APAC. ## Core pages - [Kadenwood Group](https://kadenwoodcapital.com/): Independent investment group and advisory firm. Preparation first: most of the price is set before a buyer sees the book. - [Buy-side M&A](https://kadenwoodcapital.com/advisory/buy-side-ma): Origination, approach, and negotiation for acquirers growing by acquisition, including the diligence a seller's process leaves little room to do properly. - [Special situations](https://kadenwoodcapital.com/advisory/special-situations): Balance-sheet repair, restructuring, and distressed transactions, for businesses where the capital structure rather than the operation is the binding constraint. - [Debt advisory](https://kadenwoodcapital.com/advisory/debt-advisory): Senior, unitranche, mezzanine, and structured facilities: arranged, refinanced, or repaired. We build the credit case before the first conversation with a lender. - [Equity capital](https://kadenwoodcapital.com/advisory/equity-capital): Minority and growth capital, sponsor equity, and co-investment. Valuation built from peers, cost of capital, and scenarios rather than from a number the raise needs to clear. - [Divestitures](https://kadenwoodcapital.com/advisory/divestitures): Sales of a division, product line, or asset by a corporate parent, scoped around the separation questions that decide whether a buyer can underwrite what is left. ## Outlooks Six standing market reads, published 6 August 2026 and refreshed when the underlying data is, not on a calendar.
